Q. What is eDelivery?
A. eDelivery from American General Life Companies is an environmentally friendly substitute for paper versions of new and/or updated policy and fund prospectuses, annual and semi-annual fund reports for variable universal life insurance policy owners. eDelivery provides notice via e-mail when these documents are published on our Web site. The e-mail notification provides convenient point-and-click links to connect you directly to the newly published documents.

Notice of other policy owner communications will be added to eDelivery in the future.

Q. Is eDelivery available for all of my American General Life Companies policies?
A. Not at this time. The service is currently only available for certain variable universal life insurance policies issued by American General Life Insurance Company, American General Life Insurance Company of Delaware, Wilmington, Delaware, The United States Life Insurance Company in the City of New York and American International Life Assurance Company of New York. However, we plan to add other policy owner communications to eDelivery in the future.

Q. Will I continue to receive information in the mail after I register for eDelivery?
A. Once signed up, eDelivery will replace paper copies of new and/or updated policy and fund prospectuses, annual and semi-annual fund reports.

Q. What type of equipment or software do I need to access eDelivery?
A. You will need access to the Internet using a current version of a Web Browser. eDelivery is designed to work with most computers,Iinternet providers, and Web browsers. You will need Adobe Acrobat® ReaderTM to view and print eDelivery documents. If you do not currently have this software you can download a free version from the Adobe Acrobat® Reader site.

Q. With eDelivery, can our entire family be notified with one e-mail?
A. Yes. Since you have the option to designate any e-mail address during enrollment, each member of your family who is an American General Life Companies policy owner can enroll using the same e-mail address. Since we send only one notification per e-mail address, you will then receive just one e-mail for your household.

If you have selected the option to receive one e-mail but receive more than one, please contact American General Life Companies' Customer Service toll-free 1-800-280-2011 (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT). We will attempt to correct the problem.

Q. What if I change my Internet service provider or e-mail address?
A. American General Life Companies will continue to send e-mail notifications to the current e-mail address we have on file. In the event that we are not able to send e-mails to the address we have on file, we will attempt to contact you via telephone or U.S. Mail to obtain an updated e-mail address. If we cannot determine a new e-mail address, we will revert to mailing paper. To update your e-mail address, click on the Maintenance menu option on the left of the screen after you log in to eDelivery.

Q. Can I discontinue eDelivery?
A. Yes. You may discontinue this service at any time. To do so, please contact 1-800-280-2011 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.
